Thanks and Congratulations to BPC - District Cllr Chown (April 2021)
“I would like to send my thanks and congratulations to
yourself, Liz, and all the Brixton Parish Councillors for all the great work
that has been done between May 2020 and May 2021. It has been a year that has
provided some challenges, but also many opportunities. Brixton Parish Council
have adapted, even flourished, throughout this pandemic, and the village and
all of its residents are no doubt extremely grateful for all the support the
Council has provided. This leads me to put on record my upmost respect and
admiration for Cllr Helen Deas Williams, and her great enthusiasm and dedication
to the local community. Her recent work surrounding the pandemic was incredibly
impressive and she will be missed by all of us, however I do wish her a
well-deserved rest.
I look forward to continuing to work with all of you over the next year, and providing as much help and support as possible to assist the Council in all of its forthcoming endeavours.
